Backyard Micro Wedding

When your fellow photographer friend asks you to document their wedding day…

 

Funny story. My last wedding BC (before Covid) was in Apopka and Megan from In A Glimpse Photography was my second photographer. My first wedding back to work since the pandemic began is Megan’s wedding! I love it.

Megan and Kevin celebrated their first dating anniversary by getting married in their backyard surrounded by their closest friends and family. This was how Megan wanted her day, Covid or not. Intimate weddings are so freaking special, full of emotion and so laid back. I loved pretty much everything about this wedding day, but specifically I loved that they chose to get ready together, Megan went barefoot pretty much all day, her mother SAGED THE HOUSE while everyone was getting ready, and Megan wore her mother’s (altered) wedding dress. So many little details that made this wedding day extra special.

These two are no strangers to being on the other side of the camera. Back in February I did a Day in the Life Experience for them. So much fun. So basically I did another Day in the Life Experience for them, but this time the wedding edition.
