Once upon a time, I was your typical Lifestyle Family Photographer. Posed family portraits, everyone smiling and perfect in a scenic location. Fast forward to 2018, when I lost my best friend to depression, my mindset shifted. I no longer wanted to take portraits of families all dressed up on the beach, fake smiling and miserable.

I want the real, the raw, the mundane. I want the moments that are meaningful. The moments that really matter. The things you'll WANT to remember someday but can't. The way your kiddos make a huge mess in the bathroom while brushing their teeth. The tantrums, the boogers and the chaos.
