Wilton Manors Family Day in the Life Experience

Sometimes life throws a curveball and you have to pivot and accept that the only thing constant is change. This newly single mom is juggling motherhood, running a business during a pandemic all while navigating a divorce. Spending the day with these two was such a joy to witness a mother who is raising her daughter with love, compassion, honesty and communication. It’s a beautiful thing to experience. I documented a normal day in their life. A fun little trip to the airport to watch the planes land, a quick stop at Publix and just hanging out at home.

Unposed Family Photojournalism is not for everyone. I understand the need for “perfect” smiling happy family portraits. I get it. I’ve just realized over the last few years, that it is not for me. I want to document families in an organic way, a real way. Honestly, you might not love your gallery right away. It might take a few years for you to really appreciate what this type of session provides. What I do know is, you won’t regret it.
