When I got an inquiry for a 4/20 Elopement from two former CoWorkers I was super stoked! This would be my first 4/20 Elopement and I simply adore these two humans. They chose to stay at the Goodtime Hotel, Pharrell’s swanky boutique hotel in South Beach. Talk about Instagram-worthy!
Since these two are super stylish, I took a more editorial approach than normal while still keeping my Documentary style.
When I arrived to the Goodtime Hotel we started with some details and very minimal getting ready photos. The Couple decided to grab some coffee and explore the Hotel a bit. When it was time, we headed over to the Courthouse to wait for their appointment. The Courthouse Clerk they ended up being so much fun and the Couple loved their Courthouse experience.
After the paperwork was legal, we headed to the beach to celebrate this infamous holiday of sorts. The Couple started with a very sweet ring exchange, had a quick smoke with kites flying high in the background. We headed back to the hotel for a champagne toast and some Milk Bar Cake in their room.
There is nothing I love more than a Couple who creates an Intentional Day. No matter what that looks like. Elopements give you the flexibility to literally do whatever you want and however you want to do it.

In keeping things transparent, we were asked to leave the pool deck as we were taking these photos. The Goodtime Hotel seemed very strict with their Photography policy, even with the Bride and Groom staying at the Hotel for the weekend.
Keep that in mind if you decide to Elope and want a lot of portraits at your hotel, always make arrangements beforehand so you aren’t disappointed on Elopement Day!
