I’ve photographed a lot of Bar and Bat Mitzvahs but never one during Sukkot. Having a Bar Mitzvah during Sukkot made the service so much more special with a parade of loved ones carrying palms and a beautiful snacks and coffee service in a hut (tent) in the yard behind the Temple.
The other amazing piece to this Mitzvah is the mom is a Mitzvah Photographer herself so I was honored with this responsibility and so grateful she chose me to document this very special day for their family.
