When this Couple reached out about an Engagement Session at Grand Central Station I didn’t even know that this location was on my bucket list, but you bet I added it. When I was younger I use to take the train to Grand Central from Westchester every time I came to visit my Grandparents so I completely understand how Grand Central is nostalgic to anyone who lives or commutes in New York City. I love when Couples incorporate a meaningful location for their Engagement Photos, it adds another layer of meaning. We decided to book the session at 6:30am so it would have the least amount of crowds in the background.
Also to be completely transparent, I did pull the necessary permit for the Couple to be able to be photographed at Grand Central. Photo permits are $250 and allow for a 2 hour session in certain areas of the train station. We had ID badges and all of the necessary paperwork to be allowed access with my camera gear.
