When I initially saw this wedding inquiry in my inbox I kept scratching my head. Why does the groom’s name sound so familiar? I figured it out eventually, as M had worked with Country Inn Pet Resort – where I did pictures for the Cesar Millan workshops. My second thought was “holy crap a photographer is inquiring with me for their wedding!”. When I met with A and M in person I immediately knew they were my kind of humans. A is a Doterra enthusiast (like me) and M is a kick ass photographer and their laid back dreamy wedding vision was what sealed the deal. I love when I vibe with my couples!
Their backyard wedding was a freaking dream. From the DIY tablescapes to the incredible handmade arch, these two put so much intention behind every detail they included in their wedding day. There were crystals and cacti and sage blessings and THE BRIDE APPARENTLY HAS PIPES and serenaded her groom. I think I teared up at least five times. So much love, joy, bliss and happiness surrounding them. It was truly incredible.
Backyard weddings are hands down my favorite. Intimate. Beautiful. Personal. Magic.
Here are a few of my favorite moments from A and M’s magical wedding day.
