After documenting their surprise proposal in Miami, these two beauties contacted me when they started to plan their wedding. They opted to have a second Engagement session that we planned to document in Downtown Hollywood and Dania Beach. I always ask my couples to pick a location that is meaningful to them, and since we already photographed them at their Church where they met and had their proposal, they opted for a scenic and fun location.
Downtown Hollywood is a quirky urban backdrop for Engagement Sessions. The random alleyways and eclectic art makes for beautiful portraits and a fun time. After we wandered around Downtown Hollywood, we were heading to Hollywood Beach for the next portion of their session. They requested “steamy ocean” portraits. I am HERE FOR IT. I ended up changing locations at the last minute, deciding that the Dania Beach Pier was way better for this particular session. I am so happy we did this!

These two certainly know how to have fun. We had a freaking blast in Downtown Hollywood. At this point we head over to Dania Beach Pier for some sexy beach portraits. I am 100% down for whatever ideas my couples have in store for their Engagement Session. Even if it’s not my “style” or something I would naturally take, I want my couples to be 100% happy with their gallery and I want the photos to reflect them as a couple. Your Engagement Session and your Wedding are yours… they are not about me. I am just the witness that documents and tells your love story with images. What those images say is always up to the couple.
