I love photographing Couples in their favorite places. Their neighborhood, their living room, where they had their first date or their proposal, in their kitchen, with their pets or just enjoying a favorite hobby they share. Meaningful places or enjoying activities together help ignite a feeling and create a sense of familiarity and comfort.
This Couple chose their new neighborhood for their Engagement photos. We started at the park across the street and wandered the streets within walking distance to a bookstore, a vinyl bar and to grab a slice. A truly iconic New York Engagement session. After a bit of encouragement I also was able to get them to include their beloved rescue dog for a few portraits in the end.
This Engagement session was photographed in digital, film and gif. Here are a few of my favorites from this sweet LGBTQ+ Engagement Session.
