Proposals are always a little stressful leading up to the day. Factor in daily thunderstorms in June and trying to figure out where we could have a Plan B and you’ve got a Proposer and a Photographer biting their nails until the very last minute. Lucky for us, Mother Nature came through and brought some beautiful blue skies instead. We really lucked out.
It’s always good to know HOW you want to propose. This is definitely my new favorite way to execute a Proposal now. I set up a beach chair and “read a book” as I nervously waited for the Couple. After a drink at Park & Ocean at Birch State Park, the Couple walked across the street to the beach where I was sitting. As he was walking his girlfriend out towards the ocean, he stopped and asked me to take a photo of them with his cell phone. I handed him back his phone and pulled my camera out of my bag as he got down on one knee and proposed to his now fiancé. How cute is that?! I love how simple this idea was and I was over the moon excited that the weather cooperated. I swear the forecast said 60% rain all afternoon.
After the Proposal we walked back over to Park and Ocean and Birch State Park for some more photos.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from this super cute Fort Lauderdale Beach Proposal.
Are you ready to pop the question? Make sure you have a solid plan (and a Plan B in case of inclement weather) and definitely consider hiring a professional photographer to capture some photos for you.
