My mantra for Weddings is “make it your own” and this Colorful Couple did exactly that. From requesting guests dress along their rainbow / zebra theme to skipping a traditional reception for a night at their favorite karaoke spot to marrying under an iridescent chuppah. Every single detail of this Alternative Wedding in St Pete was drenched in sentimental meaning and quirky aesthetic. Even their chosen Wedding date, September 21st was an iconic choice because of the Earth, Wind, Fire song “September”.
Downtown St Pete is the perfect backdrop for Alternative and Quirky Weddings with the colorful murals, bustling downtown energy and the acceptance for the LGBTQ+ Community.
This is one of my favorite and most unique Alternative Weddings I have ever documented. Unicorn / Zebra / Squishmallow themed Wedding Day for the win. Squishmallows also took center stage under the Chuppah and were gifted to Wedding Guests after the Ceremony which was the cutest Wedding gift ever.
